This historical restaurant is a must do if you find yourself in the beautiful small town of Cochem on the Mosel. We were greeted at the door very warmly, and escorted to our seats, and were immediately attended to by a friendly and knowledgeable employee. The atmosphere was so cozy. It was raining outside, and the historical decor of the inside and lighting made for a perfect setting and evening. The food was delicious, and portion size was good. We were also pleased to see the menu in German and English, as the area does see a lot of tourism, and my high school German is barely functional at best. I would definitely recommend this place and best to make a reservation, as seats can be limited on busy evening.
