When I plan a trip, one of the things that I make sure to do is to check out the foods that are big in that locale. Of course, everyone who has ever visited Germany knows that there are quite a few things that you should try. Beer, schnitzel, wurst and in certain areas, pretzels. We stopped at Klein's cuchenhaus to look for a treat (because the name translates to cake house) and I ended up grabbing a pretzel. These are typically big in the Bavaria area, but this bakery in Koblenz knocked it out of the park. I got a pepper pretzel instead of the traditional one with salt and it was so delicious. My kids and husband got another favorite in Germany, an apfel strudel. I am glad that I went in a different direction and discovered a tasty treat!
