I enjoy Western art, especially for some reason, works that depict snowy landscapes or cattle drives. So I was pleased that the National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum in Oklahoma City has a nice selection of paintings and some sculptures on display. It includes works by C.M. Russell and other noted painters, even though it is not primarily an art museum. There are plenty of works for sale, as well as a permanent collection. The most prominent sculpture is the End of the Trail a piece that recognizes an end to the way of life for the native tribes around the turn of the last century.
