Tampa and St. Pete are two big cities located across Tampa Bay from each other. Tampa is the bigger of the two in terms of business and industry, while St. Pete is bigger with vacationers due to it being closer to the beaches. Still, St. Pete does have some semblance of a skyline despite it being more leisure-heavy. This view is taken from near the mouth of Tampa Bay. When it comes to the area’s pro sports teams, the Tampa Bay Bucs (NFL) are in Tampa, while the Tampa Bay Rays (MLB) are based out of St. Pete. St. Pete is the fifth most populous city in Florida. Despite its close proximity to Tampa and Tampa’s international airport, St. Pete has its own airport, code PIE. Allegiant is currently more or less the only significant carrier here, however.
