There are many fascinatingly eye cathing architectures in the historic old town of northern French city of Lille and one of the great examples of Lille's legacy of brilliant architectures is the Vieille Bourse , Old Stock Exchange. The building is located right at the Place du Général de Gaulle next to the Place du Théâtre. The architecture was built in the middle of the 17th century and is in the shape of quadrangle. Due to tumultous history of Europe, when this building was built, Lille was under Spanish rule. This building was used as a stock exchange in the 17th century and hence that made the name of the building.
