Located about 30 minutes west of Philadelphia, Valley Forge National Historic Park is a great place to visit and learn about the tremendous sacrifices which were made by the patriots of the United States during the american revolution. Covering 3500 acres, the park was the site of the brutal winter encampment of George Washington's army during the winter of 1777-1778.
