Raleigh, NC is admittedly not known for its Italian cuisine. But Molina Restaurant offers a step in the direction of changing that. Molina boasts an old-world feel of an Italian villa, as it is comfortably removed from the hustle and bustle of the nearby highway. And the food follows suit. I enjoyed a great dish of gnocchi with truffle sauce which was rich and savory. By buddy enjoyed a salmon dish which was also quite good. In all, it was a lovely mini-vacation within the combines of the downtown Raleigh area. The wine list was also extensive and reasonably priced, which made things all the more enjoyable.
