My wife and I lived not too fa away from Ottawa and one spring we decided to drive there for the tulip festival. We were really glad we went. The whole city was dotted with beautiful tulip fields in all colors. They were incredibly photogenic and located at some of the city's best spots. We drove around the city to check each of the fields available. The festival started with the Netherlands gifting Canada with a bunch of tulips in return for a favor conceded by Canada, in which they temporarily turned the hospital room in which one of the Dutch royal members was giving birth into Dutch territory.
