The Trocadero Theatre is a great place to catch a show in Philadelphia. It is located right in the heart of downtown, making it easy to grab dinner and a drink somewhere and then make your way to the theater. We saw The Civil Wars play here a few years ago with some friends, and the theater itself is very beautiful. It is a rather small venue, seating only 1,200 people, so it gives shows there a more intimate feeling. Back in the day, it was used as a burlesque theater, and it still maintains many of those elements today.
