Travel with Toddler & infant

We did it! Every young family frets the travel with young children. Our 2.5 year old and 9 month old had a blast in San Diego, Ca. We left at 3am Sat morning to arrive in San Diego by 2pm (from Sacramento), we arrived 30 minutes early (perfect timing after nap completion). The week was kicked off with a day at Sea World, including a dolphin experience with Paisley (our 2 year old), the aquarium, killer whale shows, and lots of touch pools. Monday we were at the San Diego Zoo, with VIP access one hour before it opened (Panda tour), which included behind the scenes access to all the cool animals like the elephants, pandas, and more (worth every penny). And since the park is soo big, I was even able to breastfeed the baby on the cart without any distraction or weird looks from other people. =)Then a full day at the beach, playing in the waves, making sand castles and enjoying PB&J sandwiches. Wednesday we enjoyed the Safari park (our fav place by far) what an incredible experience, it's like a Dinsey version of the zoo. We chose the African cart ride (should have gone Asian) - learned after our VIP tour that there's an African tram (included in ticket price) but no asia tram... missed opportunity - but how cool to pay a couple bucks and feed the birds..parakeets were landing all over my hubby and Paisley (we left the baby outside with gpa, I was afraid of bites or scratches. Then we returned to Sea World for another fun filled day at the aquarium, sea ray touch pool and feeding the sea lions. So engaging, so worth every penny spent, and TONS of opportunities to redeem miles with Barclay! I highly recommend 6 days in San Diego with littles.... oh and at the end of it all... Paisley said her fav part was the beach...so you don't even need to hit all of the parks. =)
