I wasn't prepared to be impressed as I approached the entrance to the Cape May Point State Park visitor center. It was in a fairly small building and didn't look like it would offer a great deal. However, I was wrong. Although the center lacked any kind of interactive displays, or computer technology, it really got it's point across. Displays of the geology, biology, and history of the area were well organized and presented. The signage was suitable for a wide range of visitors, from little kids, to those whose interest was deeper. Bottom line, this center is worth a visit if you are in the area.
