The Grace Cathedral is one of the biggest church buildings in downtown San Francisco. This Episcopal Church is rather simple in the interior when you compare grandeur scale of ornately decorated European cathedrals. However, this cathedral is fairly unique in its stained glass. While it is nothing brag about religious message, history or famous artists, the stained glass in the Grace Cathedral is fairly modern and extremely unconventional. One of the stained glass it depicts Albert Einstein and his special relativity equation. It was surprising and shocking to see it at first. That was not ht end. There is another stained glass which actually shows an astronaut and a rocket launching. It was certainly interesting to see these unexpected unorthodox stained glass in an actual place of worship.
