The majestic Skogafoss was one of the topmost attractions of our weeklong trip to Iceland last year. After doing the golden circle we stayed near Hella for the night on a farm. Next day we visited Gjain, Skogafoss, and Seljalandsfoss waterfall. Unfortunately, it became a little cloudy while visiting the Skogafoss and we could not see the famed rainbow formation in front of the waterfall. We took the trail up to the top of the waterfall and it was very slippery and wet. Finally, we got the chance to wear our rainproof jackets to protect ourselves. The view of the waterfall from the top was breathtaking but unfortunately, I dod not have a picture as I did not take the risk to carry my phone upstairs and also forgot the phone with my wife who decided to stay down with our little son.
