I almost laughed when I saw this sign marking the end of the trail. It was located at the top of Rattlesnake Ridge, and it had better have been at the end of the trail, because if you took another few steps forward, you would have fallen off a cliff! It was a tough climb to the top, but absolutely worth it to this traveler. Because of the sharp drop off, the views of the valley to the west were more expansive and impressive than they would have been with a gentler slope. After enjoying that view, I headed back the way I came, this time going from the end of the trial to the beginning.
