Three short months ago the scene before you would have been chaos. Hordes of happy, but sunburned, travelers walking, or riding up and down this boardwalk. Jitney drivers would be patrolling for patrons and kids would be pestering their harried parents for one more ride on the local roller coaster. However, in the beginning of November, such was not the scene. It was locals who strolled the beach looking for treasure in the sand, and bored looking shopkeepers wondered why they even bothered to open this day. I found my excursion restful as I didn't have to jostle with crowds and my biggest decision was what bored shopkeeper I was going to give my business to.
