Shopping in Denmark is an enjoyable affair. Though there are malls of sorts, they are more vertical than sprawling and wide as you’d find in the United States. And it is much more common to find a shopping district with walking streets than in the United States. Though they too have the concept of a ‘sidewalk sale’, it is not guaranteed that if something is out on the sidewalk that it is marked at a bargain, marked down sale price. It just helps with window shopping and maybe getting people to go indoors. Of course, sometimes chilly air temperatures (occasionally in summer, too, for these latitudes) may do that, as well.
