The Madrid Palace is very lovely. It's not as elaborate as other Palaces or Castles but It's reminiscent of Buckingham Palace. The current royal family of Spain does not live here, but the palace is used mainly to host worldwide leader visits and official conferences. There is a dining room that seats over 160 people with true silverware. Apparently, they lock down the room is there is any piece of silverware missing to ensure all pieces are retrieved. This royal palace is twice the size of Versailles and about 3 times the size of Buckingham. So that gives you an idea on how big this palace is exactly. The most decorated royal in this palace is King Philip . His portrait and figurine are placed everywhere. There is no picture taking inside the rooms, but you can feel free to take pictures outside and in the hallways.
