So, I have written a couple stories about the Resaca De La Palma State Park near Brownsville, Texas. I realize that I have neglected to upload a photograph of the actual Resaca De La Palma itself.
The Resaca De La Palma was by far the wettest resaca that I encounter during my time in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. This one appears to stay wet during the entire year, or at least most of the year.
Please note the bird that is perched in the dead tree in the middle of the resaca. If you are a bird watcher, you absolutely must put the Resaca De La Palma State Park on your bucket list. This place is a bird watchers paradise.
