TheMusee des Beaux Arts was one of the only things open on Sunday in Rouen. It's amazing how little things are open on Sundays in France! It is a beautiful building and a great place to wander around for a few hours. They have the woks of Caravaggio, Modigliani, Rubens, Pisarro, Renoir, a lot of Sisley and Monet. What was especially interesting given where we were, were the paintings on display from Monet's cathedral scenes, which are paintings of the Rouen cathedral de notre dame. He did over thirty works in the series and there were three on display, so those were really cool to see.
