While on a road trip in Wyoming, I stopped in the town of Powell for a break from the road. Since I am a bit of a history buff, I wandered into the Powell Museum. It’s in the center of town, and has a small, but well equipped, visitor center across the street. The displays in the museum are as you would expect, a lot of local history and artifacts. The outside courtyard has a variety of 1920-30s era farm equipment. They also had a nice railroad caboose, which is in the process of being restored to its original glory.
