The Grand Layout

Pocantico Hills, NY, United States
20 Kudos
Miles of hiking trails (which are actually old carriage roads of the Rockefeller Family), vista’s of both forest and fields, the occasional view of the Hudson River (when you’ve hiked up high enough) – all of this is for the visitor to delight in visiting the Stone Barns property in Pocantico Hills, New York. Free access (though some parking areas require a small fee of a few dollars), you’re free to visit for the day, an afternoon, or just wander about for an hour. The restaurant facility (the old original milking barns from the 1920s that have been renovated) provide shelter, a ritzy restaurant, gift shop, and venue for large parties, too

The restaurant is usually out of range unless you have hundreds of dollars and a reservation - but try some of the same food served at the cafe!
