The people working here are not crazy, but the geography is! I love geographical oddities, and one of the more interesting I have seen is the spot where four countries almost come together in southern Africa - Zambia, Zimbabwe, Namibia and Botswana. It does not quite happen as Zambia and Botswana have the tiniest of actual borders, but you can easily see four countries from spots on the Zambezi River. It’s not trivial either - this marine border allows trucks to ferry across directly between Zambia and Botswana, bypassing the customs and taxes of Zimbabwe. There were plenty of trucks lined up to do just that. I took a passenger boat, and enjoyed wondering exactly where each country began and ended.
