At Kasha-Katuwe Tent Rocks National Monument, the rocks were formed in such a way that they resemble (very large) tents. Some of the rocks are only a few feet high (and are actually kind of cute), but some can tower up to 90 or 100 feet high, such as the ones pictured in this photo. It makes for a great hike, and there are times when you can get glimpses of the bright blue sky under all that rock. It is amazing what nature can do, and this place is a great example of that. Give yourself a few hours here to just wander around and find hidden nooks and crannies to be by yourself and enjoy the scenery.
