Tashkent is such a cool city to visit with all of the historical sites and places scattered around the capital city. My Uzbek friend and I visited the Tashkent Memorial park before grabbing lunch at a nearby local favorite restaurant. The Memorial is dedicated to the victims of repression. The locals were all so friendly and welcomed me while walking around this memorial park. The blue dome memorial outside the museum is an iconic part of the city and on the other side also has fountains just close to the actual entrance to the museum which highlights the country's past. The aim for the memorial complex is to raise awareness about the repression in Uzbekistan during Soviet Era. Make sure to check this historic place out.
One of the Central Asian country I visited and definitely one of my favorite places I have visited.
