During another Caribbean getaway we stayed at the Tamarind Cove Resort on the island of Barbados. Although the Caribbeans in general are always a great getaway, I thought this resort was overpriced and the beach not very spectacular. I did not like the fact that the resort required men to wear a jacket for dinner. The reason I came there was to relax and get rid of the daily wardrobe (suit and tie). I actually had to borrow a jacket from the hotel, which I really found ridiculous. The beach in front of the hotel was very narrow and during high tide only a small path remained. I also thought the resort lacked atmosphere, no real tropical plants to speak of, no beautiful garden. Would not stay there again.
