Taking The Subway in NYC

New York, NY 10016, USA
16 Kudos
Taking the subway in New York City is almost like a rite of passage when visiting because it is what the locals do. The subway is very easy to navigate and I found Google Maps helpful in mapping out where we needed to go and whether taking the subway, walking, or an Uber or Lyft would make more sense. Google Maps can map out for you where the train station is and point to point directions, cost, and estimated time. It was a relief to not have to learn how to use the transit agency app. When traveling with children, it is important to note they get a free ride on the subway and you don’t need to pay the $2.75 metro fee for them.
