Prague is a fantastic city to stroll. Inexpensive compared to other major European cities, there is a postcard vista at every turn. The St. Charles Bridge is the epicenter for strolling the picturesque city. Lined with statues and gas lamps, tourists and residents alike walk back and forth, enjoying the views of the city and the Vltava river below. We had wonderful weather there on our visit, so our favorite thing to do was to just stroll around, sampling street food and people watching, and looking for the ideal restaurants for our meals. Street performers line the St. Charles bridge area as well. The medieval astronomical clock is a big tourist draw, and is a must see.
