We've been to several railroad museums, and none of them seem to disappoint. This one, however, might top all of the others due to its historical values.
We arrived when they opened at 9am, and were promptly greeted. Upon entering one of the docents spoke with us for about 15-20 minutes. Most of the trains on the grounds had been used by Paramount in a lot of movies. I think the most notable was the Inyo #22 engine that was used mainly by John Wayne. Another thing that was very neat to see was the actual rail car that carried the golden spike for the first transcontinental railroad May 10, 1869.
