Seeing St. Peter’s Church is so amazing and definitely something to do when in the Vatican City. We were going through the Vatican Museum (which should be an all-day event but we only had a few hours) and when in the Sistine Chapel exited through the group tours door, which goes right to the Cathedral entrance. This was a big time saver. The Cathedral is amazing beyond words, everywhere you look has more beauty than the spot before. I always find it amazing to see all the floors and ceilings decorated with such awe-inspiring artwork. Inside, once is introduced to the place where Peter is supposedly buried and the line can be long to see it. The history of this place is so important and so worth the time to visit.
