Getting off of the beaten path when you travel leads to some cool stuff. We ran into the Sint-Annagodshuis in Atwerp completely by accident. It turns out that this place was founded in the early 1400s for six old women who needed care. There was also a chapel that was associated with the house that was in the area. Of course as things do, the control of the house changed and the purpose of the house changed (it's now private housing), but the history behind it remains cool. A section of cool row houses stands there. At least they kept the cool sign so you could learn about the history of the area and then buildings, true to Antwerp style, are very nice to look at.
