Spiritual Construction. Nearly the entire way up the mountains and back, 15 days in the wilderness, and over 30 different mountain villages visited, there was a common theme to consturction. Most of these houses, guesthouses, and anything else constructed are made of rock and stone and a little wood found in the area. Very few structures have any concrete or cement to them as outside resources are hard to come by and harder to transport into the area. The one exception to all of this was the shrines, gompas, altars, and monastaries that often had white and gold motifs around the entrances, exits, and centerpieces of these little towns.
