Soviet Era Hotel: Hotel Uzbekistan!

Tashkent, Tashkent Region, Uzbekistan
9 Kudos
Hotel Uzbekistan is a 4 star Soviet Era hotel in the heart of the city of Tashkent. I stayed here during my time in the capital city, and found it to be a very popular venue for weddings. Rooms were spacious and the staff were nice overall. You can easily arrange your tours with them and I found it convenient that they had a currency exchange right in the lobby of the hotel (make sure to bring a bag pack because of the exchange rate, ;) ). Also the location of the hotel can't be beat it is located near the airport, train station, also the Amir Timur Square. Breakfast option was okay and they have a HUGE dining area which also serves a venue for weddings. I saw a few receptions held here during my 4 day stay in Tashkent.
