Of course the only photos that didn't come out well were the ones of the falls themselves, but here goes anyway: South River Falls is an 83 foot waterfall that is in the center of the Shenandoah Park. It is surrounded by easy to walk on trains, good hikes, and lots of the area is accessible to people with varying levels of mobility. The one that I did was a 5 mile loop that includes beautiful views and a couple of very pretty old cemeteries. For more serious hikers there are easily accessible topographical maps online and lots of info on making it a longer or shorter hike and how one can make it a more of a sight seeing tour by including various views and ruins, etc.

My photos didn't come out but these falls are a really gorgeous sight to see.
