Solvang surely shows its Danish heritage in every corner of the town. The building architecture is something you cannot see other places in California (or even entire US). I am not sure if the architecture is Danish style (as I do not know what actually Danish architecture style is), but it certainly looks like somewhere in the middle of Europe with well preserved medieval buildings. You can see Denmark flag with the town name Solvang written on it. You can see the statue of Hans Andersen, a very well known Danish fable writer, and the statue of Little Mermaid which are symbol of Denmark. There are lots of tourists in Solvang and a horse carriage makes the town more charming.
