We stopped by Kent Falls State Park on the way from Stockbridge to New York and stopped there for a picnic. What we then discovered was a beautifully landscaped small state park with a nice trail along the waterfall, which stretches just under a mile across several terraces and pools. Along this waterfall cascade leads over many steps and gradients along a small trail, which always offers great viewing platforms and opportunities to get to the river. The path is well maintained and just as well secured, so that there is no danger. If you have a lot of time to look it takes about 45 minutes to walk the trail back and forth. Absolutely recommended for a short stop.
