The Ryman Auditorium in Nashville is one of my favorite places to see live music. The Mother Church of Country Music, as it’s fondly known, was gone to the Grand ole Opry for a big chunk of its history and is also a National Historic Place, so yeah, this place has a bit of a history. We were lucky enough to score tickets to see Sleater-Kinney there and it was an amazing show. These ladies may be in their 40’s now, but they still put on o e hell of a rock show! The Ryman was jumping for sure and we had a great time. They do tours of the theater for those of you who aren’t in town for a show, but want to check out the venue.
