Skiing Seven Springs

Seven Springs, PA, United States
12 Kudos
A short drive from Pittsburgh there are a few ski resorts to choose from, I decided to spend an evening at Seven Springs Mountain Resort to hit the slopes. This was my first time skiing so I only did the beginner level slopes but there are four levels for those who are more experienced in the sport! The resort itself it highly pricey so I recommend stopping somewhere between the turnpike exit and resort to rent your gear. You can find a few places that charge almost half of what you will pay on resort property. As for ski/snowboard and lift passes I recommended checking your options before you plan your trip. We did the 4pm-10pm moonlight pass for $50 each on a Saturday. You can also do a 1pm-10pm or an all day/all weekend pass. If you are planning to go a few times over the season consider the season pass, I believe they were somewhere around $300-$400 and that depends on if you want the moonlight evening pass or to use during the day or weekend as well. We ate and drank at the Foggy Goggle which seemed reasonably priced compared to the rest of the resort!
