We visited Manchester Cathedral and at first very somewhat disappointed because this cathedral is much smaller than other European cathedrals and therefore might not impressive at first. But our tour guide reminded us that we are looking at at the structure that was designed and built about 600 years ago. Our tour guide also pointed out some of the architectural details that we have not noticed before. There are spectacular stained glass windows around cathedral and great examples of sculptures dating back centuries ago. This cathedral was exposed to bombing during the war and managed to survived. Also take a look at a new pipe organ!
