Shopping in Fredericksburg, Texas

Fredericksburg, TX, United States
16 Kudos
The main drag of Fredericksburg is lined with a variety of interesting shops. They have shops specializing in cowboy boots, high-end Amish furniture, or various types of food. One of my favorites was Phil Jackson's Granite and Iron Store, which, as you would guess from the name, features lots of beautiful household things made of stone (and iron, too). Since Fredericksburg is in the Texas wine country, there are numerous wine shops representing individual wineries, and you can do a tasting of different samples at most of them. Besides sampling wine, you can also sample various foods from popcorn to salsa to fudge at different shops along the street.

Linens N More Inc
A nice store with quilts, pillows, and much more that we stopped into.
Fredericksburg Fudge
What tourist town full of shops would be complete without a fudge shop. I didn't like the watermelon fudge that I sampled, though.
Rustlin' Rob's Texas Gourmet Foods
A really fun store filled with lots of salsas and mustards and more to sample.
Amish Market
The Amish store had really gorgeous furniture, but way out of my price range.
