Seven Colored Earth!

Chamarel, Rivière Noire District, Mauritius
9 Kudos
The Seven Colored Earth is located in the Charamel district of Mauritius. This geological formation is a very popular tourist attraction here which has a very diverse landscapes. It's a small area of sand dunes and the colors red, brown, violet, blue, green purple, and yellow can be seen here. It formed from the decomposition of volcanic rock. I really liked this place for its natural beauty. And one of highlights during my visit here is the fact that they had food vendors and a stall for refreshing sugar cane! Definitely a good drink on a super hot day exploring the tropical island. The area is protected by a wooden fence and visitors cannot hop over to preserve it.
