A short drive from Amalfi along the coast brings you to the little town of Atrani. Atrani really is a sharp contrast to Amalfi or Positano, seemed like it was forgotten for a while. The setting is very unique. They have a small beach (which is in summer fully occupied by sun chairs) and from there you actually have to walk underneath the main coastal highway (which is more a narrow street than anything else) to get into the town. Some of the buildings including the church date back to the 13th century. Streets are very narrow, always wondered how they deliver furniture and stuff to the last house up the hill.
