Santa Fe Plaza is the name given to Santa Fe, New Mexico's central square area. Because of the Spanish influence in Santa Fe and New Mexico as a whole, the square is modeled to look like an old colonial city, complete with adobe houses. They host many events in the square, and when it is not in use for that, it is bustling with locals and tourists taking in the shops and restaurants. We had a great time here exploring the shops - the intricate Native American rugs and clothing were unlike anything we have ever seen. If only we had more room in our bags!
