So the southern coast of Massachusetts, near Falmouth and other small Northeastern New England towns is just a beautiful landscape to enjoy. Regardless of season, water, sky and even wildlife join together to make a truly unique geographic spot. Long known through the fishing industry (cod, scallops) and then later for vast mansions and stately homes, Falmouth in particular now hosts a marathon once a year that takes the runners past this very scenic view. Sand dunes protected by fences to catch the wind and slow it down. The grasses are rebounding, and the dunes stabilize. Even under snow, a beautiful vista.
