A distinctive feature on the landscape of Spain is the Roman bridge, the foundations reaching back to the Roman times with the result that there is a very scenic pedestrian bridge crossing a river to the old town. We walked three major bridges in Spain and one minor one but the best was in Salamanca. The view of the city, the bridge itself and the remains of a roman bull statue at the start of it all culminate in making this a nice experience. Salamanca doesn't have the remains of some places in Spain but the one remain that it has is very worthwhile.
