Roman Amphitheater

Arles, Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur, France

Here we walked up to the Roman Amphitheater that was built in 90AD, just a decade after the Colosseum in Rome, but is much better preserved. We also saw the remnants of the Roman Forum which was just next to the amphitheater. The amphitheater was in the process of being restored. After walking around for a bit, we went and got some gelato, because it was pretty hot! The gelato was very yummy! Many restaurants and shops around the area. Overall, our brief stop at Arles was a nice surprise considering I never heard about this place before the tour.
