I fly in and out of the Albuquerque, New Mexico, airport several times each year but until this weekend I had never eaten at the Rio Grande Brew Pub & Grill. It is impossible to miss - besides being the first seated restaurant you see after clearing security (not in the food court) it has it's trademark full size leather saddle mounted at the entry below the branded longhorn steer skull neon sign. There is a full bar just inside the main entry and a large table area off to the right and also in the back along the windows so patrons can watch the activity on the tarmac. The menu is what I consider standard airport fare - appetizers, soup & salads - bugers and sandwiches, but our server was friendly and prompt and prices are reasonable. All-in-all the Rio Grande is not a bad place to spend an hour while waiting for a flight.
