Sometimes you need to get away and be in nature, and there are few better places on the west coast to do this than in the Yosemite National Park. We camped for four nights and spent our days hiking, swimming, floating down a river and eating together in front of a campfire. And if that was not enough relaxation, we had no cell service - no emails, no social media, no other distractions to steal our attention away from our campmates and the nature that surrounded us. We woke up to nature's sunny alarm clock, and retreated to our tents under the vast array of stars at night.
Points of interest
After days of camping and eating food from ice chests, grabbing a hot cooked meal is so refreshing (mmm pizza!).
Cathy & Carol's Coffee Shop
A nice place to grab a hot coffee on your way in or out of Yosemite.
