Kennett River is a village at the Great Ocean Road. It has a small food store and you can buy some needed gasoline. The main attractions of this not-so-spectacular village are Rainbow Lorikeets (that might steal your food you just bought or grab your hair to distract you) and koalas high up in the trees. To see them you have to walk the unpaved road up hill on the left from the parking lot for about 10 to 20 minutes. They are not easy to detect but they are plentiful. This makes a great exercise and a well earned change from the long drive
