Stopping off in Krabi, there's not much to do in the town itself. But a necessary stop right outside would be a visit to Railay Beach. A boat ride away, even though its on the mainland, there is no way to access it because of the cliffs. A small resort has popped up at the docks, a few small houses nearby and then a hike to the southern tip of the peninsula takes you to the beautiful beach that makes the whole trip worth it. Beautiful turquoise water over power white sand, and cliffs rising all around you. If you feel up for the adventure, take a break from the sun and hike up and through the jungle in an almost vertical rise to get views of both sides of the mountain.
