After a short taxi ride from the ship port to the beach, we settled in with a cold alcoholic beverage. (so what if it was only 10am!) The beach wasn't crowded and the prices were extremely fair. They offered snorkeling equipment for a meager $5 per person, but I didn't partake since it looked like the equipment was only cleaned once every 100 people....GROSS!!
Women would walk up and down the beach selling Corona beers for $1.15 a piece. My husband was a big fan of that! Other women would come around asking to braid your hair or sell you a beach skirt. You would have to be stern with them telling them that you are definitely not interested.
It was a beautiful and relaxing trip to the beach...and relatively cheap compared to most beach prices!!
